Each camera runs on a built-in 6000mAh rechargeable battery (2×18650 cells) rated for up to 6 months on a single charge at 15 activations per day, removing any need for power cabling at the installation point.

Cameras connect wirelessly to the included base station over 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and are managed remotely via the Helo by Strong mobile app on Android and iOS. The base station connects to the home router via RJ45 and stores recordings locally on a Micro-SD card (up to 128 GB) or a USB 2.0 external drive (up to 2 TB HDD), as well as in cloud storage. Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice control are supported, and all data is encrypted using AES128.
