When motion is detected within the 6 m range and 110° detection angle, the unit emits an audio alert signal of 90 dB.

The alarm is armed and disarmed using the included wireless remote control (transmitter), powered by 3 x LR44 batteries. The transmitter carries an IP20 protection rating. An alternative 6 VDC power supply connection is also possible when battery operation is not preferred.
