Johansson 7722L VHF-UHF Line Amplifier – LTE/4G Filter, 2 Outputs & Adjustable Gain

The Johansson 7722L is a mains-powered line amplifier designed for terrestrial TV distribution installations. It accepts a single dual-band input covering VHF (40–320 MHz) and UHF (470–790 MHz) simultaneously, and splits the signal to two outputs. LTE/4G filtering is built in to suppress interference from mobile network frequencies.

VHF gain is adjustable from 15 to 30 dB and UHF gain from 18 to 28 dB, each independently controlled. Remote power feed (24V / 55mA) is switchable, allowing the amplifier to supply passive head-end or mast-mounted components. The unit is mountable on a wall or on a DIN rail.

Key Features

• Single dual-band input: 40–320 MHz (VHF) + 470–790 MHz (UHF)
• 2 outputs
• Adjustable VHF gain: 15–30 dB
• Adjustable UHF gain: 18–28 dB
• LTE/4G filtering built in
• Switchable remote power: 24V / 55mA
• Power LED indicator
• Wall or DIN rail mounting

Product Benefits

• Independent VHF and UHF gain adjustment allows the signal level on each band to be optimised for the specific installation without affecting the other band
• A maximum output level of 107 dBµV supports long cable runs and multi-outlet distributions before signal level drops to unusable levels
• The built-in LTE/4G filter prevents mobile network interference from degrading UHF reception — particularly important in areas with dense 4G coverage
• Switchable remote power enables the amplifier to feed a mast LNB or antenna pre-amplifier directly, eliminating the need for a separate power inserter
• A noise figure of 3.0 dB typical ensures minimal signal degradation at the input stage
