The EL SPD-C10-1P+N-10kA is a 2-module Class C surge protection device for fixed electrical installations. It uses a semiconductor valve element that stays at infinitely high resistance under normal voltage and opens to divert excess voltage to earth during atmospheric or system-fault surges, then recloses once the voltage normalises.

The 1P+N configuration protects both the line conductor and the neutral path to earth. The device occupies two DIN modules and is intended for placement at the start of the installation or before the main circuit breaker. Installation must be carried out by a certified electrician.
