Description
The Johansson 4513 is a TAP-type coaxial distribution component with 1 input and 1 tap output. At 25 dB insertion loss and 30 dB port isolation, it provides the deepest tap value in the Johansson single-output TAP series, making it appropriate for the final subscriber connection on a long distribution run.
DC pass capability lets voltage pass through the coaxial cable to power active antenna elements — such as masthead amplifiers or LNBs — without a separate supply cable.
Key Features
- TAP configuration: 1 input, 1 output
- Frequency range: 5–2300 MHz, covering terrestrial, satellite, and DOCSIS bands
- DC pass on the input port
- Insertion loss: 25 dB
- Isolation between output ports: 30 dB
- Return loss on input and output: 10 dB
Product Benefits
- 25 dB tap level is suited for final-position drops at the end of a cascade where earlier taps have already extracted most of the signal budget
- 30 dB isolation — the highest in the 451x single-output series — provides strong port-to-port separation
- Wide 5–2300 MHz bandwidth handles all standard broadcast and satellite frequencies without additional filtering
- DC pass supports in-line powering of active antenna components

Why You'll Love It
- Completes the Johansson 451x TAP family, providing a 25 dB option for precise cascade budget planning alongside the 10, 15, and 20 dB models
- The 30 dB isolation minimises signal leakage back onto the trunk, protecting signal integrity across the whole distribution system
- Single-output format keeps the installation clean for a single final-position subscriber drop
- Full 5–2300 MHz coverage means one component handles both terrestrial and satellite signals
