With standard Bluetooth you may notice a slight lip-sync delay. To avoid it, choose a transmitter with aptX Low Latency and headphones that also support it. For full-quality video without delay, a Wireless HDMI Extender handles both picture and sound together.

Yes, a transmitter pairs with standard Bluetooth headphones and speakers. For the lowest delay, both devices should share the same codec, ideally aptX Low Latency. If your headphones only support basic SBC, the audio will still work but with more lag on video.

It depends on your TV. With an optical or RCA connection the TV speakers usually keep playing, but with the 3.5mm headphone jack they often mute. Check your TV's audio output settings, where some models let you run internal speakers and an external output together.
