Satellite Dish Actuators & Motors – Precise Dish Positioning

Lynk.gr stocks a carefully selected range of satellite dish actuators and motors designed for reliable, repeatable dish positioning across multiple satellites. Whether you're upgrading an existing motorised setup or building a new one from scratch, you'll find the right drive unit here.

What Is a Dish Actuator?

A dish actuator (or linear actuator) is the motorised arm that physically moves your satellite dish along a polar or H-H mount. Paired with a compatible DVB-S2 satellite receiver that supports DiSEqC 1.2 or USALS, the motor lets your system lock onto dozens of satellites automatically.

Choosing the Right Motor

Match the actuator's stroke length and lifting capacity to your dish size and local wind load. Small dishes (60–90 cm) suit compact 36V units, while larger offset dishes (1.2 m+) need heavy-duty actuators. Check that your mount is rated for a motorised setup, and combine it with the correct satellite dish mounting hardware.

Installation Tips

Precise polar alignment is critical — even a small azimuth error means the arc sweep won't track correctly. Once the mount is aligned, use your receiver's motor control menu to step through the satellite arc and save positions. Use quality power cables and connectors rated for outdoor use to avoid voltage drop over long cable runs.
