The Golden Media MS-5516LE is a passive/active multiswitch designed for indoor SMATV installations. It accepts four satellite IF inputs and one terrestrial input and routes signals to 16 independent output taps. Built-in amplifiers compensate for distribution losses, making this unit appropriate for medium to large shared antenna systems. An external power adapter is included.

Each output tap delivers satellite signals in the 950–2150 MHz band and terrestrial signals in the 5–860 MHz band. The switch supports all four DiSEqC switching commands (13V/0Hz, 18V/0Hz, 13V/22KHz, 18V/22KHz) and can feed LNB power up to 1.2 A total.
