The Fracarro CD-VF is an indoor dome camera equipped with a 1/3" Sony Super HAD colour CCD sensor and a Sony SS11R digital signal processor. Its 2.9–10 mm aspherical varifocal lens allows the installer to set the exact field of view for each location, with manual focus and zoom adjusted internally.

Image controls are configured via dip-switches, giving the installer precise control over AGC, AWB, BLC, AES, and FL settings. The camera outputs a composite PAL signal over BNC and runs on a 12 V DC supply.
