The Hensel DK1000G is a rectangular cable junction box in grey RAL 7035 polypropylene, measuring 180×130×77mm (W×H×D). It carries an IP 66 degree of protection and a rated insulation voltage of 1000V AC/DC, built to IEC 60670-22.

Integrated rubber membranes can be removed to accept spiral cable entry with a sealing width of 9.0–21.0mm. Two cable inlets at the bottom accommodate cables with a sealing range of Ø9.0–20.0mm each. Lid fasteners seal without accessories; open membranes can be closed using EDK grommets (sold separately). A cover retaining strap and external wall-mounting brackets are included.
