The August DA100D is a 10.1-inch portable digital television with a built-in DVB-T and DVB-T2 tuner. The 1024×600 LCD panel at 16:9 aspect ratio offers 200 cd/m² brightness and 700:1 contrast ratio, and supports interactive Teletext via the Red Button. Channels are found by scanning with a rooftop or indoor aerial, and the television can be used in any location where a signal is available.

The DA100D includes a USB PVR/DVR function with Timeshift for recording live broadcasts to a USB stick, as well as a Micro SD card slot (up to 32GB) for additional media storage or playback. A 7-day EPG supports scheduled recording, and an AV input port enables connection of games consoles, satellite boxes, and other AV sources. The on-screen menu is available in Greek.
