This AD lampholder accepts R7S/JD118 linear iodine lamps (118mm pin-to-pin length) and is manufactured from steatite ceramic — a high-temperature material suited to the intense heat produced by tungsten-halogen sources. The holder is used in wall-wash floodlights, construction-site projectors, and halogen work lamps.

Supplied pre-wired with a 2×18cm silicone cable rated at 0.75mm², which maintains its flexibility and insulating properties at the elevated temperatures found in enclosed halogen fixtures. The silicone wiring allows direct connection without the need for a separate high-temperature cable run between the holder and the ballast terminal.
