MW Security NVR-824K 8-Channel 8MP IP NVR – Dual-OS Linux, ANR & 4K HDMI

The MW Security NVR-824K is a professional-grade 8-channel IP network video recorder built on a dual-OS Linux platform for enhanced stability and efficiency. It supports up to 8MP IP cameras and provides independent HDMI and VGA outputs, with HDMI capable of 4K resolution (3840×2160).

ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) technology ensures continuous video recording even during LAN or WAN failure, protecting against footage gaps. Two SATA III bays each support up to 6TB, with H.264+ and H.265 compression reducing storage consumption by 50–70%.

Key Features

• Professional dual-OS Linux system for greater efficiency and operational reliability
• ANR technology maintains video recording during LAN/WAN failure or disconnection
• H.265 / H.264 / H.264+ compression formats supported
• High compatibility with IP cameras from manufacturers other than MW Power
• Supports 8 IP camera channels and cameras up to 8MP resolution
• Independent HDMI and VGA outputs; HDMI supports 4K (3840×2160)
• 2× SATA III bays, maximum 6TB per interface, with SMART function
• Gigabit Ethernet network interface (10M/100/1000 Mbps)
• 8× PoE ports for powering cameras (PoE model: NVR-824KP8)
• VCA (Video Content Analysis) intelligent image analysis support
• Smart Search by date, channel, recording type, event, time, and camera number
• 3D intelligent positioning with PTZ cameras via network
• Audio input/output: 1/1 via RCA; one two-way audio-intercom track

Product Benefits

• ANR prevents recording gaps caused by network outages — footage is buffered at the camera and synchronised when the connection is restored
• H.265 compression cuts storage use by up to 70% compared to H.264, extending HDD life
• Smart Search quickly locates events by motion detection, alarm input, or VCA, saving review time
• PTZ 3D intelligent positioning lets operators zoom directly to a point of interest
• High third-party camera compatibility avoids lock-in to a single camera brand
• Simultaneous live view, archiving, playback, and network sharing without interruption
