Constant-voltage drivers supply a fixed voltage (e.g. 12V or 24V) and suit LED strips and modules; constant-current drivers supply a fixed current (mA) for fixtures that require it. Match the driver to your light's spec — see our LED Drivers.

Add up the total wattage of all the LEDs it will power, then choose a driver rated around 20% higher so it isn't constantly maxed out. This improves reliability and lifespan.

Check the voltage printed on your LED strip or fixture and match it exactly. A 24V strip needs a 24V driver; using the wrong voltage will damage the LEDs or leave them dim.

Yes, as long as their combined wattage stays within the driver's rating and they share the same voltage. Wire them in parallel and use suitable connectors from Power & Cables.

Only if you want to adjust brightness. Choose a driver marked dimmable and pair it with a compatible dimmer; a standard (non-dimmable) driver cannot be dimmed reliably.

Choose a waterproof model with a suitable IP rating (e.g. IP65 or higher) for damp or outdoor locations. Indoor dry areas can use standard non-waterproof drivers.
