E14 is the smaller screw fitting (14mm diameter), common in table lamps, wall lights, chandeliers and many kitchen-hood and fridge fittings. If your socket uses the larger screw, see LED Bulbs E27 instead.

Around 470 lumens is roughly equal to an old 40W incandescent bulb, and about 800 lumens matches a 60W bulb. Check the lumen value listed on each E14 LED bulb rather than the wattage.

Only bulbs marked as dimmable will work on a dimmer switch. Using a non-dimmable bulb on a dimmer can cause flicker or buzzing. Check the product details before buying if you have a dimmer fitted.

Common shapes include candle (C37), golf-ball (G45) and small globe. Match the shape to your shade or fitting so the bulb sits neatly and looks right, especially in open chandeliers and sconces.
