Description
The Marmitek Split 312 UHD is an active 1-input / 2-output HDMI splitter that sends the same audio and video signal from a single HDMI source — such as a Blu-ray player, HD set-top box, game console, or satellite receiver — to two displays simultaneously, without any signal loss or encryption bypass.
Unlike passive splitters, the Split 312 UHD actively amplifies the signal to maintain image quality at both outputs. It supports Ultra HD 4K (4k2k@24/30), Full HD 1080p, and all 3D formats, and is HDCP 2.2 compliant for protected 4K Ultra HD content. The EDID switch allows manual selection of the maximum output resolution if one of the connected displays does not support 4K.
Key Features
- 1 HDMI input, 2 HDMI outputs — simultaneous signal distribution
- Supports Ultra HD 4K (4k2k@24/30), Full HD 1080p, and all 3D formats
- HDCP 2.2 compliant for protected 4K Ultra HD content playback
- EDID switch for manual maximum video resolution selection
- Video bandwidth: 10.2 Gbps, clock frequency: 300 MHz
- Maximum HDMI cable length: 15 m per output
- Supports LPCM 7.1, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, Dolby AC-3, and 2.0CH audio
Product Benefits
- Active signal amplification delivers identical image quality to both outputs — no perceptible degradation at either display compared to a direct connection
- HDCP 2.2 support allows protected 4K Ultra HD content from streaming devices and Ultra HD Blu-ray players to pass to both displays without handshake failures
- The EDID switch resolves compatibility issues when one display has a lower maximum resolution, allowing the splitter to negotiate separately with each output
- Simultaneous output to a projector and a TV eliminates the need to swap HDMI cables when switching between screens for film viewing or presentations
- DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD pass-through means lossless audio reaches the display without any downgrade

Why You'll Love It
- One source feeding two screens removes the need to move cables when switching between a living room TV and a projector screen
- HDCP 2.2 compliance means 4K streaming content and Ultra HD Blu-ray discs play correctly on both connected displays without protection errors
- The EDID switch is a practical tool for mixed-resolution setups, preventing a 4K source from being locked to 1080p by an older secondary display
- Marmitek's active amplification design means both outputs receive a clean signal regardless of cable length up to the 15 m per-output limit
