iSnatch HEY SMOKE Wi-Fi Smoke & Heat Detector – Photoelectric, 85 dB & App Alerts

The HEY SMOKE is a photoelectric smoke detector that uses optical sensing technology to detect slow-burning fires characterised by thick, black smoke and low heat — the type of fire that can smoulder for hours before producing visible flames. It does not contain any material hazardous to the environment.

In addition to its local 85 dB+ alarm and flashing LED, the device connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to send push notifications to the user's smartphone via the dedicated app. It can be installed in any room except the bathroom, and multiple units can be deployed to cover apartments or multi-storey houses. This detector does not replace a complete alarm system.

Key Features

• Photoelectric smoke detection technology
• Heat detection sensitivity: 54–70°C
• Smoke detection sensitivity: 0.108–0.141 dB/m
• Wi-Fi connectivity: 2.4 GHz
• Alarm sound level at 3m: greater than 85 dB
• Smoke alarm mode: 3 short beeps + flashing LED
• Heat alarm mode: repeated beep + flashing LED
• Power supply: 2× AA alkaline batteries (not included)
• Test button for functionality verification

Product Benefits

• Photoelectric technology detects slow-burning, smouldering fires earlier than ionisation detectors, which are more responsive to fast-flaming fires
• Wi-Fi push notifications alert the user even when they are away from the premises — not only when within earshot of the local alarm
• Distinct alarm modes (3 short beeps for smoke vs. repeated beep for heat) allow the user to recognise the type of event before inspecting
• Battery power eliminates dependence on mains wiring — the detector remains operational during power outages
• Test button allows periodic functional checks without triggering the Wi-Fi notification, per local installation guidelines
