Description
The GloboStar 40W solar floodlight runs entirely off a built-in rechargeable lithium battery charged by a separate 6V 12W photovoltaic panel. A day-night sensor triggers automatic activation at sunset, while the included RF 2.4 GHz wireless remote gives manual override from a distance. With IP66 protection and a cast aluminium body, it operates reliably in outdoor weather.
For optimal charging, orient the photovoltaic panel facing south at approximately 30° from horizontal. The panel connects to the floodlight via a 4.40m cable. Deviation toward east or west results in losses of 7–8%; horizontal roof mounting carries losses of 2–3%.
