The Hensel DK0400G is a cable junction box in grey RAL 7035 polypropylene, measuring 104×104×70mm (W×H×D). It carries an IP 66 degree of protection and a rated insulation voltage of 1000V AC/DC, built to IEC 60670-22.

Integrated rubber membranes can be removed to accept spiral cable entry with a sealing width of 9.0–17.0mm. A bottom cable inlet accommodates cables with a sealing range of Ø6.0–15.0mm. Lid fasteners seal without accessories; open membranes can be closed using EDK grommets (sold separately). A cover retaining strap and external wall-mounting brackets are included.
