The Anttron TM4HDV is an HDMI-to-DVB modulator that accepts four HDMI inputs — each up to 1080p — and compresses them using H.264 video encoding and AAC-LC or MPEG1-L2 audio encoding. The four encoded services are then available at the RF output on two adjacent channels in DVB-T or, after reconfiguration, in DVB-C format. This makes it possible to distribute HDMI content such as IPTV set-top boxes, cameras, or media players across a coaxial RF network to any connected TV.

Configuration is performed using the DTVIface programming software, which controls all DVB table parameters including programme names, SID, LCN, TSID, ONID, NID, and EIT. The unit is powered via a +5 V DC 2.1 mm connector and consumes 15 W.
