Proskit SS-979B Hot Air Soldering Station – 760 W, Dual LED & 100-500 °C

The Proskit SS-979B is a combined hot air rework and soldering station with two separate LED displays — one for the heat gun and one for the soldering iron — allowing each unit to be monitored and adjusted independently. Total power consumption is 760W (700W hot air, 60W iron).

The hot air unit uses a metal heating core with a brushless motor for quiet, stable airflow up to 120L/min. The soldering iron uses an alumina ceramic heater rated at 24V for fast warm-up and precise temperature control. The station is CE and RoHS certified, and the soldering iron additionally meets ESD safety regulations. Compatible with Pro’sKit 5SI-216N series soldering tips.

Key Features

• Dual LED display — independent control of hot air gun and soldering iron
• Microprocessor-controlled closed-circuit sensor design
• Hot air brushless motor for quiet, stable, consistent airflow
• Automatic sleep function on heat gun for energy saving and heating element longevity
• Auto cool-off process to prolong heating element life
• Soldering iron with alumina ceramic heater and ESD-safe, heat-resistant ergonomic handle
• Compatible with Pro’sKit 5SI-216N series soldering tips
• Certifications: CE, RoHS, ESD (soldering iron)

Product Benefits

• Independent dual displays let the user set hot air temperature (100–500°C) and iron temperature (200–480°C) simultaneously without switching modes
• Brushless motor delivers stable, consistent airflow — essential for uniform SMD rework
• Auto sleep and auto cool-off functions extend the life of the heating elements and reduce standby power draw
• Ceramic heater in the soldering iron provides rapid heat recovery after each joint
• ESD-compliant iron handle protects sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge during rework
