A profile protects the strip, spreads heat and, with the right diffuser, hides individual diodes for a smooth, even line of light. Track systems let you position and aim multiple spotlights along a single powered rail. Choose the right profile type

Surface profiles mount onto any flat surface, recessed profiles sit flush inside a routed channel, and corner profiles throw light at 45° along worktops and shelves. Match the internal width to your LED Strips before buying.

Opal vs clear diffusers

An opal (frosted) cover diffuses the light and hides dots, ideal for visible runs. A clear cover keeps maximum brightness for hidden or high-output installs.

Track lighting basics

Decide between single-circuit and three-circuit track, then pick compatible Spotlights & Downlights adaptors. Three-circuit track lets you switch groups of fittings separately.
