LED Tube Lights (T8 & T5)
LED tubes replace old fluorescent tubes in garages, kitchens, offices and workshops. They give instant, flicker-free light, use less energy and last far longer than the fluorescent tubes they replace, and they don't dim with age as quickly. This is a carefully selected range of LED tubes to upgrade existing batten and tube fittings without changing the whole luminaire.
Match the size and base
Tubes come in standard lengths (around 60cm, 120cm and 150cm) and base types, mainly T8 and the slimmer T5. Measure your existing tube and check the pin spacing so the new one fits the holder.
Check the wiring type
LED tubes are made for different setups: some need the old starter and ballast removed and the fitting rewired, others work with an existing ballast. Confirm which type your fitting needs before buying to avoid extra work.
Pick brightness and colour
Choose lumens for the task and a colour temperature to suit the space, often cool white for workshops and kitchens and a warmer tone for living areas.
