The Fuba OLB900 FC/PC is a universal optical LNB designed for satellite installations where the cable run between the dish and the first distribution point is too long for conventional coaxial cable. Using fibre-optic technology, it converts the received satellite signals into digital light waves. Transmission via fibre-optic cable produces almost no signal loss — approximately 0.3 dB per 1000 m — compared to the significant losses of long coaxial runs.

The LNB has an optical output connector (FC/PC type) and an F-connector for external 12V power supply. All four satellite polarisation and band levels are transmitted simultaneously via the optical output. The power adapter is included in the box, along with an additional protective cap for the LNB.
