Three types of Momcozy pump

Honestly: the most common comment in reviews is that some mums get less milk from a wearable than from a plug-in pump. If you pump exclusively, Momcozy recommends the V series.

Wearable (all-in-one)

Motor, battery and cup in one piece that sits inside your bra. No tubes, no cables.

S9 Pro · S12 Pro · M5 Smart · M6 · M9 · Air 1 · W1

Hybrid (V Pro series)

Light wearable cups connected to a small controller that holds the motor. More power, less weight on the breast.

V1 Pro · V2 Pro

Primary double electric

Your main pump at home, with two independent motors and separate settings for each side.

Flange size guide

Find your flange size

The flange is the funnel-shaped part that sits on your breast and draws your nipple into the pump. The right size helps you get the most milk and keeps pumping comfortable. Momcozy pumps include a standard 24 mm flange, with 27 mm flanges and 15–21 mm inserts available for other sizes.

How should your nipple look in the flange?

Flange too small: the nipple rubs against the tunnel

Too small

Your nipple rubs against the flange tunnel, which can be uncomfortable.

Correct flange fit: the nipple fits snugly inside the tunnel

Correct fit

Your nipple fits snugly inside the tunnel and moves freely, without rubbing or pinching.

Flange too large: the areola is pulled into the tunnel

Too large

Part of your areola is pulled into the tunnel, which can reduce milk output and cause pain.

Two easy ways to measure

Momcozy includes a nipple ruler with sizing holes with its pumps. Measure both sides, as your left and right nipples may differ.

Measuring the nipple with a ruler

Method 1: a ruler

  1. Gently stimulate your nipple so it perks up.
  2. Hold the ruler against your breast, lining up 0 with the base of your nipple, with the edge touching your areola.
  3. Read the measurement in millimetres: that's your nipple size.

Method 2: a nipple ruler with holes

  1. Gently stimulate your nipple so it perks up.
  2. Try the sizing holes one by one. Your nipple should pass completely through while the ruler's edge touches your areola.
  3. The size marked on the best-fitting hole is your nipple size.

Momcozy flange size chart

Momcozy recommends adding 1–3 mm to your nipple measurement, as nipple size can change while pumping.

Measure after gently stimulating your nipple. Some models, such as the S12 Pro, have their own chart on momcozy.com.

Signs you've found the right size

Will my size change? Possibly. Your breasts can change between the third trimester and after birth, and throughout your pumping journey, so check your size regularly. It's fine if your nipple touches the side of the tunnel, but rubbing or discomfort is not: try another size.

Download the measuring tool (PDF)

Nipple movement

Your nipple moves in and out freely within the tunnel, without pain or air gaps.

Areola

Only a small part of your areola is drawn into the flange.

Comfort

You feel no discomfort or pain while pumping.

Nipple condition

After pumping, your nipples look healthy, with no redness, blisters or cracks.

Questions every mum asks

Wearable or hybrid?

Wearables (S, M, Air and W ranges) are fully cordless and self-contained, ideal for moving around and discretion. Hybrids (V1 Pro, V2 Pro) keep the motor in a separate controller: lighter cups and more power, with a tube as the trade-off.
