The PT435DC monitors DC battery voltages of 12VDC or 24VDC and operates in one of two installer-selected modes. In Mode A it functions as a battery charge controller: the relay arms when voltage falls below the lower limit (battery under charge) and disarms when voltage rises above the upper limit (battery fully charged). In Mode B it acts as a full-discharge protection monitor: the relay arms when voltage is above the upper limit (battery charged) and disarms when voltage falls below the lower limit (battery discharged).

Both modes use two adjustable voltage limits — an upper limit and a lower limit — to define the switching thresholds. The relay output provides one switching contact rated at 10A/250VAC (AC1 category). Two LED indicators show POWER ON and RELAY ON status. Built-in varistor protection guards against voltage surges and lightning transients. An 8-pin lamp-type connector base is required for mounting (code 525086, sold separately).
