A mast is a vertical pole that elevates the antenna above obstructions — ideal for rooftop or ground installations. A wall bracket attaches directly to a wall or fascia and holds the antenna at a fixed or adjustable angle, with no vertical extension. Your choice depends on the elevation needed and the mounting surface available.

Larger directional antennas are heavier and catch more wind, so you should use heavy-duty U-bolts and saddle clamps rated for the antenna's boom diameter. Use cable clips or saddles to run the coax along the wall at regular intervals (every 30–50 cm). Pass through walls using weatherproof cable glands to prevent moisture ingress.
