R7s refers to the double-ended ceramic cap fitting used on linear quartz halogen and infrared lamps. The number after R7s indicates the lamp length in mm — the most common sizes are 78 mm (R7s-7) and 118 mm (R7s-10). Always replace with the same length and wattage as the original.
