Marmitek BoomBoom 100 Bluetooth HD TX & RX – aptX LL, Optical & Dual Pairing

The Marmitek BoomBoom 100 combines a Bluetooth audio transmitter and receiver in one compact unit. In receiver mode (RX), it streams CD-quality music from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to your audio system. In transmitter mode (TX), it wirelessly sends the audio from a TV or audio system to Bluetooth headphones or speakers — without disturbing others nearby. Switching between TX and RX is done with a simple mode switch.

The BoomBoom 100 supports aptX, aptX Low Latency, AAC, and SBC codecs. aptX Low Latency keeps audio lag below 40 ms, making it suitable for watching TV or gaming without noticeable sync issues. Two Bluetooth headphones can be connected simultaneously in TX mode. Both analogue 3.5 mm jack and Toslink digital optical connections are available for input and output, making it compatible with virtually any existing audio or TV equipment. The unit remembers up to 8 previously paired devices.

Key Features

• 2-in-1 mode: operates as a Bluetooth receiver (RX) or transmitter (TX) — switchable.
• Streams audio to up to 2 Bluetooth headphones or speakers simultaneously in TX mode.
• Supports aptX Low Latency codec (32–40 ms lag) for lag-free TV watching and gaming.
• Also supports SBC, AAC, and aptX codecs with corresponding latency values.
• Both analogue (3.5 mm stereo jack) and digital (Toslink optical) audio input and output.
• Remembers up to 8 paired Bluetooth devices.
• Powered by USB (5 V USB-A); power consumption under 0.2 W.
• 3-colour LED indicator (blue/green/red) for status at a glance.

Product Benefits

• One device replaces both a Bluetooth receiver and a separate transmitter — saves cost and reduces cable clutter.
• aptX Low Latency eliminates the audio-video sync problem common when using Bluetooth headphones with a TV.
• Toslink optical input/output allows a clean, interference-free connection to a TV or amplifier's digital audio port.
• Simultaneous dual headphone connection lets two people listen wirelessly from the same TV source without disturbing the room.
• Wide audio frequency range (20 Hz–48 kHz) and dynamic range of 95 dBA deliver high-fidelity reproduction.
