The Marmitek MegaView 65 is an HDMI extender that transmits high-definition video and audio over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable to a maximum of 40 metres at 1080p resolution. It is suited for installations where a Blu-ray player, digital TV decoder, Media Centre PC, or hard disk recorder must feed a screen or projector in a different room.

The system consists of a transmitter connected to the HDMI source and a receiver connected to the display, linked by a single structured-cabling run. The MegaView 65 cannot be connected to an existing home network (LAN); a dedicated cable between transmitter and receiver is required.
