Coffee Grinders & Brewing Accessories for Every Cup

Good coffee starts before the water goes in. Freshly ground beans release aromas that pre-ground coffee simply cannot match, and the grind size is one of the most critical variables in extraction. Whether you're dialling in a morning espresso, perfecting a pour-over or experimenting with cold brew, the right grinder and brewing accessories make the difference between a fine cup and an exceptional one.

Burr grinders vs blade grinders

Burr grinders (both flat and conical) crush beans between two abrasive surfaces, producing a consistent, uniform grind size that extracts evenly. Blade grinders chop beans randomly, creating uneven particle sizes that lead to over- and under-extraction in the same cup. For any serious brewing method, a burr grinder is the right choice — and it doesn't need to be expensive to outperform a blade grinder significantly.

Manual vs electric grinders

Manual (hand) grinders are compact, quiet and excellent for travel or small kitchens — and at a given price point they often deliver better burr quality than electric counterparts. Electric grinders are faster and more convenient for daily use, especially if you grind for two or more cups at a time. Both types in our range deliver consistent results that elevate any brewing method.

Grind size and brewing method

Grind size must match your brewing method. Espresso needs a fine grind; AeroPress and Moka pots work best medium-fine; pour-over, Chemex and V60 use medium to medium-coarse; French press and cold brew need coarse. A grinder with step or stepless adjustment gives you full control. For the precise pour that pour-over demands, pair your grinder with a gooseneck kettle from Electric Kettles.
