NH & Knife-Blade Fuses for Industrial Power Protection

NH and knife-blade fuses provide reliable overcurrent and short-circuit protection in industrial distribution boards, main switch panels, and commercial installations. Built to IEC standards, they handle high fault currents safely and are available in standardised sizes from 000 through 3, making it straightforward to find a direct replacement or spec a new panel. Our carefully selected range covers common gG/gL current ratings for both general-purpose circuit protection and cable protection.

Choose the right size and rating

NH fuses are classified by physical size (000, 00, 1, 2, 3) and current rating in amperes. The fuse must match the base size in your holder or fuse switch and must not exceed the cable's rated current. Always use the characteristic that matches the load: gG for general circuits, gL for cable-only protection.

Voltage and breaking capacity

Check that the fuse's rated voltage covers your system voltage (typically 400 V AC for three-phase industrial circuits) and that its breaking capacity is sufficient for the prospective short-circuit current at that point in the installation. Both values appear on the fuse end-cap.

Safe selection and installation

NH fuses must only be inserted or removed with the circuit isolated and using the correct fuse puller or insulated handle tool; never handle them live. Pair them with compatible Fuse Holders & Bases and browse the full Power Protection & Fuses range for complementary components. Every order is backed by Lynk Buyer Protection.
