The Eastron SDM230M (SDM230 Modbus) is an advanced single-phase multi-function energy meter designed for direct measurement of loads up to 100A. It features 15 measured parameters and 4 kWh measurement modes, making it suitable for solar and battery storage applications where bidirectional energy tracking is needed.

An RS485 Modbus RTU or optional M-bus EN13757-3 communication port is provided for integration with BMS and remote monitoring systems. Communication parameters are password-protected in setup mode. The SDM230-2T variant measures energy from two power supplies for dual-tariff metering. The unit mounts on a standard two-module DIN rail.
