The GBC Inverter INV3-12-600-C converts a 12V DC source — such as a car battery — to 220–240V AC at 600W nominal (1200W peak) using a modified sine waveform. It is designed to power computers, laptops, tablets, MP3/MP4 players, TVs, DVDs, and CD players when mains power is unavailable.

Input connects via crocodile clips over a 10–15 Vdc range; output is provided via a single Schuko socket. SoftStart technology limits inrush current during startup. The silver aluminium housing includes an on/off switch and one cooling fan, and is rated IP20.
