The Fracarro CAM-SMOKE is a hidden camera designed to look like a standard ceiling-mounted smoke detector. Its 1/3" Sony Super HAD colour CCD sensor and fixed 3.6 mm F2.0 lens capture 420-line resolution video, outputting a composite PAL signal over BNC. The cylindrical 60.5 × 106.5 mm body blends into drop ceilings and suspended tile systems used in commercial interiors.

The camera operates on 12 V DC and includes a wall-mounting bracket. All image controls — AGC, AWB, BLC, and AES — are permanently active.
