The 1/3" Sony Super HAD colour CCD sensor and fixed 3.6 mm F2.0 lens capture 420-line resolution video, with the camera element concealed behind the mirror surface and invisible to anyone in the room. The unit ships complete with a mounting bracket (195 × 100 × 71 mm) for wall installation.

The camera outputs a composite PAL signal over BNC and operates on a 12 V DC supply. All four image controls — AGC, AWB, BLC, and AES — are permanently active.
