The Master DM-400b-RF is a wall-box dimmer based on IGBT digital technology with Leading Edge and Trailing Edge mode selection. It controls lighting intensity and reduces energy consumption for dimmable LED and CFL bulbs, halogen lamps, resistive loads, and transformer-based circuits. It adds an RF wireless channel so a three-button RF-CTRL remote can control the dimmer from anywhere in the room — the remote is sold separately.

Built from precision integrated circuits and impact-resistant plastic, the unit is suited to demanding installation environments. Its Soft-Start function gradually ramps voltage at switch-on, extending lamp life. Electronic protection against short circuit, overheating, and overvoltage is built in, with automatic recovery to normal operation.
