Description
The BEST LNB HQDL 243 is a monoblock LNB designed to receive satellite signals from two orbital positions separated by 4.3 degrees without repositioning the dish. Its compact housing keeps wind loading low, and its extra light weight makes installation straightforward on standard dish arms.
With a noise figure of 0.1 dB and a dual-band input frequency range covering 10.70–12.75 GHz, the HQDL 243 delivers strong signal performance across both the lower and upper Ku bands. It is fully HDTV compatible and requires minimal current from the receiver, with a maximum power consumption of 100 mA.
Key Features
- Single output for one digital satellite receiver
- Monoblock design covers two satellites at 4.3-degree spacing
- Input frequency lower band: 10.70–11.70 GHz
- Input frequency upper band: 11.70–12.75 GHz
- Noise figure: 0.1 dB
- Power consumption: max. 100 mA
- Fully HDTV compatible
- Very high cross-polarisation (X-Pol) isolation
- High frequency stability
Product Benefits
- Monoblock 4.3-degree design allows reception from both satellites on a single fixed dish installation without a motor or second dish
- 0.1 dB noise figure is extremely low, preserving weak signal quality especially on smaller dish sizes
- Very high X-Pol isolation minimises crosstalk between horizontally and vertically polarised transponders, reducing decoding errors
- High frequency stability ensures the receiver locks channels consistently across a wide range of ambient temperatures
- Max 100 mA current draw is well within the supply capability of all standard satellite receivers
- Compact housing with extra light weight reduces mechanical stress on dish arms and simplifies pointing and alignment
