The Marmitek IR Control 10 Xtra is a wired infrared extender system that relays your remote control's IR signal from a small visible receiver to blaster or emitter LEDs placed directly in front of your AV equipment. The equipment itself can be completely hidden in a closed cabinet or even in another room.

Unlike RF-based extenders, the IR Control 10 Xtra works with virtually all remote control brands and models, and supports newer infrared code formats including RC-MM used in HD devices and digital TV decoders. Advanced filtering makes it immune to interference from flat-screen televisions and indirect sunlight.
