Manhattan I-SWHUB GB-080P 8-Port Gigabit Switch – Fanless, Auto-MDI/MDIX & Green Ethernet

The Manhattan I-SWHUB GB-080P connects up to eight Ethernet devices — computers, game consoles, network printers, streaming media devices, and smart TVs — at speeds up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gigabit) using standard Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Its store-and-forward switching architecture with zero packet loss ensures reliable data transfer across all ports simultaneously.

Green Ethernet technology monitors port usage and turns off unused ports automatically to reduce electricity consumption. The compact, fanless design operates silently and is compatible with all Windows and Macintosh systems.

Key Features

• 8 auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports
• Auto-MDI/MDIX (auto uplink) on all ports — no crossover cables needed
• Store-and-forward switching with zero packet loss
• Green Ethernet: unused ports are automatically powered down
• MAC address table: 2,048 entries
• Jumbo frame support: 9 kB
• Backplane speed: 16 Gbps
• Fanless, silent operation

Product Benefits

• Auto-MDI/MDIX eliminates the need to distinguish between straight-through and crossover cables, simplifying installation
• Green Ethernet reduces power consumption on idle ports, lowering the switch's running cost over time
• Half and full duplex operation on all ports maximises throughput without packet collisions
• 16 Gbps backplane capacity ensures no bottleneck when all 8 ports are active simultaneously
• Fanless design produces no noise, making it suitable for living rooms, home offices, and quiet work environments
