The PELC PT432-8 pin monitors the three-phase supply voltage for phase loss, phase asymmetry (adjustable 25–5%), incorrect phase sequence, and undervoltage. It operates without a neutral connection. A typical application is the protection of submersible pumps and asynchronous three-phase motors against faults in the distribution network.

The supervisor relay activates when all three polar phases are within the adjustable asymmetry limit and their sequence is correct. In any other condition — including total loss of a phase below 300VAC — the relay deactivates. An 8-pin socket base (code 525086) is required for installation and is sold separately.
