Description
The GBS Jolly Line 1731 is a direct replacement remote control for Philips Smart TV sets. It ships fully pre-programmed and requires no computer or infrared learning procedure — insert two AAA batteries and it is operational.
Programming is handled via direct code entry, supported by both automatic and manual search modes. The stored TV code is retained in memory even when the batteries are replaced, so reprogramming after a battery change is not necessary.
Key Features
- Pre-programmed replacement for Philips Smart TVs — no setup beyond battery insertion
- Controls one device: TV
- Functions: AV input, volume, teletext, and programme selection
- Programming: direct code entry, automatic search, and manual search
- Code memory is non-volatile — code is retained when batteries are replaced
- Power: 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries (not included)
Product Benefits
- Ready-to-use out of the box — no pairing, no infrared learning, no app required
- Non-volatile code storage means a battery change does not wipe the programmed TV code, saving time
- Direct code entry and automatic search give two routes to programming, covering both users who have the code book and those who do not
- Controls all essential TV functions — AV source selection, volume, teletext, and channel navigation
