The SKB SK12-2.6 is a hermetic recombination lead acid battery with a voltage of 12 Vdc and a capacity of 2.6 Ah. Recombination technology keeps the electrolyte sealed inside the battery, eliminating the need for maintenance or water top-up. At 100% depth of discharge the battery performs approximately 200–300 cycles; at 30% depth it reaches approximately 1000 cycles.

The battery must be charged with a constant-voltage charger at the correct voltage as marked on the label. It must not be left in a discharged state — it should be recharged immediately after use to preserve cycle life. The Faston 4.8 mm terminals accept standard quick-connect connectors.
